Data Security for collected Information

We assure you that Care Health Insurance has a comprehensive information security program and related policies that contain managerial, technical, operational and physical security control measures. These are commensurate with the information assets being protected in the nature of business. We further assure you that whenever we share your information with any third party, we ensure the party handles your information in accordance with all relevant privacy laws, and solely for the purpose as mentioned in this policy.

Authorization for use of your Information

When you visit to our website/mobile app, you authorize us to process your information for the purpose mentioned herein above, to use and disclose any information collected or available with us to such entities mentioned hereinabove.

If you provide the Information of any person other than you, we assume that you have their consent to share this information with us.

If you do not provide us with the Information we reasonably require, we may be unable to provide you with the offer, information, products or services (as the case may be) that you have requested.

Care Health assures you that the company or any person on its behalf, holding your information shall not retain that information for longer than is required for the purpose for which the information may lawfully be used or is otherwise required under any applicable law.

Health Data

We use the Fit SDK from Google (more information can be found here), i.e. an open platform that allows users to control their fitness data. We process and collect the step data through Google Fit SDK with the consent of the user. After connecting to Google Fitness, the user can see his/her step data in a graphical format and the app starts automatic collection of step data from Google Fitness. Data is collected until the user turns off the step counter functionality, logs out of his/her user account in the app, or deletes the app.

Care Health Insurance also collects your Google User Data in the Method and Scope described below –

Google User Authentication – Care Health Insurance asks you to authenticate your Google User Account using your Google User credentials, through Google’s Authentication API which ensures complete security and confidentiality. Authenticating your Google User Account for/with Care Health Insurance is optional and at your discretion.

Note that, in the absence of this Authentication, Care Health Insurance will not have the respective user data.
